Position Overview: The Development & Partnerships Coordinator leads fundraising, sponsorship, donor engagement, and community partnerships for the Anthony Wayne Youth Foundation (AWYF). This role plans and executes fundraising events and campaigns, stewards relationships with donors and sponsors, and builds partnerships with local businesses and community organizations. Working closely with the Executive Director and Activity Boards, the Coordinator supports sustainable funding and meaningful community engagement to advance AWYF’s youth programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all AWYF fundraising events
• Develop and manage sponsorship packages, annual appeals, and fundraising campaigns
• Build and steward strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
• Manage donor and sponsor communications, recognition, and ongoing engagement
• Maintain accurate donor, sponsor, and community partner databases
• Track and report fundraising performance, sponsorship revenue, and grant-related income
• Create fundraising marketing materials, newsletters, and donor impact stories
• Represent AWYF at community events, networking opportunities, and partnership meetings
• Support Activity Boards with fundraising strategy, sponsorships, and external funding initiatives • Maintain and update “Support Us” and “Get Involved” website pages
• Manage fundraising, donor, and partnership communications across social media channels
• Coordinate volunteers for fundraising and community events
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience in fundraising, event planning, marketing, or nonprofit development
• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deadlines independently
• Creative, organized, and comfortable engaging with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners
• Experience with donor stewardship or sponsorship programs preferred
• Experience working with donor databases, CRM systems, or fundraising tools
• Strong attention to detail, including tracking revenue, maintaining records, and preparing reports
• Ability to represent the organization professionally at community events and meetings
• Passion for youth development, community programs, and nonprofit mission‑driven work

• Fundraising Results: Revenue achieved against annual fundraising and sponsorship goals
• Donor & Sponsor Retention: Retention and growth of active donors and sponsors through effective stewardship
• Events & Campaign Execution: Timely, well-executed fundraising events and campaigns that meet defined goals
• Community & Board Support: Effective partnership development and fundraising support for Activity Boards
• Operational Effectiveness: Accurate data, timely reporting, and consistent, professional communications Compensation & Work Environment
• Hourly Rate: $20/hour
• Hours: This is a full-time, non-exempt position averaging 40 hours per week. Work hours may shift from week to week and can include evenings or weekends. When this occurs, the employee’s schedule will be adjusted within the same workweek to maintain a total of 40 hours.
• Work Environment: Hybrid (in-person + virtual)
• Schedule Needs: Occasional evenings and weekends for events and community engagement

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, up to eight (8) hours per day.
The individual must be able to regularly use a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment, including repetitive typing and screen use.
