A note from Mayor Richard Carr:
This is a most difficult and unprecedented time for all businesses in our City. The financial strain is fully understood. With that in mind, I am reaching out to our business community for financial assistance for our Maumee Senior Center to feed our elderly residents who are most vulnerable to the COVID 19 virus. The Maumee Senior Center is presently feeding over 70 people a day with meals delivered to homes by volunteers. The cost of each meal is $8.00. The meals are provided seven days a week. We do not want our elderly to go out of their homes. The Maumee Rotary Club has committed to match up to $8,000.00 in donations. I am asking MCC and your members to please donate any amount possible to assist. Our goal from throughout the community is $24,000.00. Thank you!
